BIOGRAPHY
Linda Shackelford holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with honors in Visual Arts (Emphasis in Drawing). She also has a Bachelors Science Degree in Education at Cameron University Lawton Oklahoma, and earned hours towards a Masters at Southwestern University, Oklahoma.
She has participated in workshops of nationally recognized artists Ruth Ellen Bryant, Mike Wimmer, Dennis Martin, Cathy Liontas Warren.

Linda taught Drawing for Clarendon College Clarendon, Texas. In the past she was ART ADVISOR for the Museum of Fort Sill Oklahoma. She has judged at Oklahoma arts festivals.
Linda has given demonstrations and lectures to the public on "Drawing You Into Art".

A guitarist since she was 13 years old, she studyed private voice instruction in college, where she recieved awards & recognition. This interest in music is sometimes reflected in her art .

International Travels: Recently went to India, Agra to see the "Taj Mahal", Delhi, , and many other sights.  Trip planned to Amsterdam, Holland this month!

Went to Namur Brussels, Brugge, Belguim, then Paris France in 2006 to photograph, and sketch different sights.
